VW Jetta Overheating

VW Jetta, Golf A2 Overheating Tip

We have discovered over the years some A2 Jetta Golf overheating turn out to be just a bad front engine mount, more so on the automatics. the front engine mount become loose start loosing the hydraulic fluid inside and as the driver accelerates the whole engine is raised striking the cooling fan housing, of course this would continue for a period of time until there is an indentation in the fan housing which would eventually restrict the fan from continuing to turn, causing the car to overheat.

Replace the front engine mount, and in most cases you can remove the fan housing and straighten it out, overheating problem is solved.
